Hello,
I am not a programmer! but the reason why the pop up windows is opened way below the click button seems to be directly proportional to how far the code for the pop up is from the top of the web page itself.

So I believe that the code itself does not put the pop up in relation to the window, but in relation to where the click button is positioned in relation to the window.

This is typically an issue when there is a conflict between the existing CSS you are using for your page and the CSS that is used for the date box.
