|

I've set up three forms, all using a verified email address (needed to verify it in order for it to appear in the drop-down) as the auto responder "from" email. Everything seems to be set up right, and the forms are otherwise working fine, but the reply emails all come from "root@mycontactform.com". Any ideas on how to correct this, since I was expecting to be able to use our own email as the "from" email address in the auto responses.
Thanks. |

Technically, all emails coming from mycontactform.com are from the root address since they originate from our server (there is no other way to do it). In the email header however, the 'from' address is always set to whatever you configure it. This is what shows up in 99% of email clients (I'd say 100%, because I've never seen it otherwise). This is the way it should be displayed according to various internet development standards. If you are seeing something different, it is most likely the cause of the email client you are using to read the autoresponse.
