|

Hi. I am setting up my first simple contact form but when I preview it the email and subject bits are ok but the message bit is only on one line and not a larger box as in your basic sample making it very difficult for users to view their message or make corrections! When I go to edit the form I can not find any way to change the one line message to a larger box.
Help please

1. Login
2. Click 'Edit'
3. Click 'Form Questions'
4. Click 'Edit' next the the message question
5. For the type of question, select 'Text Box - Multiline'
It sounds like you are using a single line text box for the question. You need to change it to the multiline type in order for it to function are you wish.

Hi Nick.
Did as you said and can now change the size of the message box and have sent a message to the email address and it works well. I am probably signing up for the premium service but wanted to make sure the form worked and it does! Two more questions sorry! The text you would expect to auto return at the end of the limit of the message box but you need to return it manually or it continues in a straight line? Also when I paste the html onto the web page under the form there is the text : Back to form management?
Thank you. Victor. |

The lines in the text box will auto-return down to the next line.

When copying the HTML, make sure you are doing it from the 'Get HTML' page. Select only the HTML code contained within the box to copy. This should solve your issue.
