Hi,

I have a website and I also have a call center taking orders over the telephone. Many people call in on the telephone requesting a brochure who do not have internet access or an email address.

I planned to put a "mycontactform" simple form on my website to get the Name and address of customers for the purpose of mailing out brochures. My plan was that if someone called into the call center requesting a brochure, the call center would navigate to the web page, enter their address and press 'submit' which would then send that info to our processing center so we can mail out the brochure.

Only after signing up and paying for the "mycontactform" service did I discover that you must have a "enter your email address" field in every form you create.

Again, people requesting brochures on the phone do not have an email address.

Is there a way where I can create a form without an "enter your email address" field? Alternatively, if that is not possible, can we set up the form that field to have a default email address rather than trying to collect the user's email address?

Unless I can get around this then this mycontactform capability is not going to work for me and I have wasted money.

Please help.

While there is no way to do this from the control panel, you can manipulate the code to make it work.

Please read the following FAQ:

Please note that this is not supported and makes your form more susceptible to abuse.

Sincerely,

Nick Ladd
