Is it either possible or going to be to validate format for phone numbers so that they get entered as (xxx)xxx-xxxx and require that so information comes in as desired? Same goes for other fields where I'd like to control input to certain format requirements?

I'm sorry, this is not possible at this time. You can created the field and give it a default value, but this still won't ensure proper formatting.

Not anytime in the near future. We just released a major suite of upgrades on 1/1/05 and are taking some time off in regards to further developing our software.
