Yes...this may seem like a duplicate question, but it has a slightly different problem involved.
Its about the error that starts "This form is not being sent from the url where it is supposed to be located. "
Here's the problem. You can get to my site in two ways:
http://windhaven.bravepages.com/galesgifts
and
http://windhaven.bravepages.com/galesgifts/index.html
These are both exactly the same page...they are not really located in too different places.
This is a common hosting practice---that you can include or not include the "index" page and in the URL, and either way it will go to that index page. I don't know if all hosts do that but the two that I've used both did.
So, if someone goes to my site under
http://windhaven.bravepages.com/galesgifts the form works,
but the same form, uploaded to the same page, which can be reached at
http://windhaven.bravepages.com/galesgifts/index.html brings up the location error.
I realize that a fix for this might take some time, but I think it would be worth your time to have your forms recognize eithe the index or non-index versions of pages as this probably affects many of your users.
Thanks again for your time in looking into this. |

Gale,
We have a series of updates scheduled to go live during the first part of April. One of these updates allows for users to specify multiple urls for their forms.
Thank you,
Nick Ladd

Hi,
Unrelated to the person above, but i'm still having the same exact issue.
my URL's are:
http://www.connellconstruction.com/makeachange
and
http://www.connellconstruction.com/makeachange/index.html
whichever one is listed first on the form location text box will work, and you can flip flop them all day, but only the first listed one will work. I even decided to abandon the /index.html approach and created a whole new page (with the exact HTML code behind it) and the URL for that is: http://www.connellconstruction.com/makeachange/change.html and still have the same issue (whichever page is listed first will work, and the second one is out of luck)
any help is appreciated.
thanks,
dan |

Thank you for the post. I will look into this bug for the next set of site updates that I am planning on releasing end of November.
Sincerely,

Hello Nick...
I have the same problem described in this post - more than one location on separate lines and only the first location works.
Hopefully this bug will be fixed with your next update. |
