Hi Frank,

All emails originating from our forms have ananonymous@mycontactform.com in the email header as this is the actual address the messages are being sent from. As with all form services, we do not have access to your email address or email server, so must send from our own server, and alter the email headers to show match the to/from that was inputted into your forms.

It sounds like someone manually sent a spam message via your form. I would recommend turning on the CAPTCHA feature to prevent this.
