I copied and pasted the html straight from my form management. But when do a test submission the form refreshes (clears the data) but doesn't go back to my home page, nor have I been able to receive any information to my email address for the forms.

This is likely a case of pasting the code within an already open form tag on your site which can basically hijack the form. It appears that you've replaced the code with another provider's, so I cannot confirm.
