|
|
Hello, I hope someone can help me.
I managed to do my form and on screen it looks great. However when it is completed and emailed to me, it doesn't look the same - I expected a sort of printable A4 page with the boxes laid out as on screen. Did I do something wrong - I chose send email in HTML format.
Ideally we need to print out any received forms - but when they come just listed out on email, as below, that's not what we want. (I have put question marks to my personal info)
Example of email when form comes through to us:
From:
Subject: New Telephone Record
Date: 10/06/2012 at 23:15 (GMT 2) from 80.32.180.110
Name: ?????
Partners Name: ????
Address: ?????
Home Telephone Number: ?????
Mobile Telephone Number: ?????
Callers Email address: ?????
Diagnosis Confirmation available:
Time of Call: 23:15
Call-back Required:
No
Request of Caller: Just want to see if this works
Date/Time of appointment of next hospital visit: none - thank goodness
Driver Required:
Yes
Buddy Required:
Yes
Interpreter Required:
No
Finance Required:
Yes
Call Taken by: ?????
Date of Call: 6/10/2012
Action Taken (if any): Please let me know if this works or not - I have filled the form in online and pressed Submit to MACS so hopefully you should receive it
I hope someone can advise me, I really do need help here. We are a Cancer Support Group Charity, in Southern Spain, trying to help the ExPat community and the Spanish when they are faced with a diagnosis of Cancer, helping them with emotional support, equipment, driver, even someone to help at home - all volunteers. We are funded solely by money raised by fundraising - you can see our Website here http://www.macscancersupport.com (website not brilliant - but its the best I can do
Thank you

The emails are being sent in the proper format. This is the best that most email clients can handle without getting too elaborate with the HTML source for the emails themselves.

Thanks for your reply
What if it was sent as a .pdf attachment - would that look like the form as it is laid out online? |

The PDF attachment would being formatted in a similar manner to the actual email.
