This is controlled by a setting in the user's internet browser. It is not the default behavior for the majority of internet browsers.

The usual cause of this is using a internet browser that has caching disabled. The settings for this vary browser to browser.

ok, I've tested this in 3 different browser with default installs...
Safari - no problem
IE 8 - no problem
Firefox (even though caching is turned on) - won't keep form data.
Is there another possible reason for this to happen? |

It is likely a browser setting in there. The only other think I can think of would be if you have some sort of setup using frames or redirects on the site.

The issue is either with the fact that the form is being embedded within an iframe, or with the transition that is being used on the form (the way it fades in).
