I have one user out of over 250 that is getting the following error when attempting to pull up one of my forms

It appears that Norton firewall could be blocking the referrer address. If this case, there is nothing that can be done. The software is blocking us from knowing what address the form is coming from. We use this information for security purposes in order to ensure that your forms cannot be hijacked or sent from other web sites.

It is also possible that there could be something going on with proxy servers.

We will look further into this issue and see what we can find out.

this is the same problem I am having.
I don't think it is Norton, because even with mine disabled, I received the same error message.

I found a similar problem when I was first setting up the form on my client's page. I had forgotten that the actual address of the form would be on a supplementary page to his home page. I had forgotten to put the name of THAT page in. You need to go to form management and change the address/location of the form to the ACTUAL page it will reside on.
example: www.ridgetoptreasures.com is my actual website homepage. However, my counter resides on the About the Artist supplementary page. sooo.. instead of using http://www.ridgetoptreasures.com for the address of the counter form, I had to use http://www.ridgetoptreasures.com/about.htm. See what I mean? Try changing the address and see if that works. The address of the page you actually insert the code onto is the actual address you need to use.

In some browsers (like Opera) and a few others there is the option to not send out the referring url. This is a security feature turned on by default in many of these browsers that would lead to the forms not being submitted. We re-programmed a bit of the code to take this into account and these problems should no longer be occuring.

If they are occuring, then most likely it is because when you created the form you did not enter the complete address of the page with the form on it...including the actual file name. For example:

http://www.whatevermydomainis.com/contact.html

Even after disabling everything, I cannot stop getting that message about changing my form location even though I have the exact same web address for where my form is located! I checked and checked and I don't know what the problem is. I have IE 6. One of my forms work and one doesn't. HELP...

Please post the exact error message you are receiving.

It is most likely that you are not including the filename (ie index.html).

If it helps to know, I noticed I get this problem whenever I edit the form. But then after a few minutes it starts working again.

Actually I'm getting the error more eften now, and I haven't even edited the form.

Using IE 6.0 and I have my form source set up correctly.

It's set up as "http://www.badclan.us/email.php" which is where the form is located.

Here is the error...

"This form is not being sent from the url where it is supposed to be located. If you are the owner of this form you need to ensure that the 'Form Location' is specified as http://www.badclan.us/email.php?txtPercentage=3%25+loaded&sendingLC3=%5Bobject+Object%5D. You had it specified as being http://www.badclan.us/email.php. To change this, login to the site, click 'edit' next to the form's name, and then click the 'Basic Information' link to change the form's location. "

Any suggestions?

Here is another error I'm getting, it's slighty different from the other.

It seems to work for me no problem when I go to http://www.badclan.us/email.php

The problems occurs when I go to the form when linked off the main page. This takes me to:

http://www.badclan.us/email.php?txtPercentage=99%25+loaded&sendingLC3=%5Bobject+Object%5D

This is the reason for the problem. You need to specify the exact URL where the form is located (including all of the variables being appended to the url).

I assure you that all of our forms will work IF they are placed on the exact url they are specified as being located at.

Either link your main page to:
http://www.badclan.us/email.php

OR:

Change the forms location from the admin panel to:

http://www.badclan.us/email.php?txtPercentage=99%25+loaded&sendingLC3=%5Bobject+Object%5D

This will solve you problem.

Okay, I see what you're talking about, it's the Flash scripting that's screwing up the link.

It works when I go to the form page from one flash link, and doesn't from the other.

I see where to fix it now.
