Is there an easy way to add a default format for phone or any other field?

Like "(XXX) XXX-XXXX"
Or if we have Id numbers and they are 3 letters and 6 numbers with a Number sign you could do:
"XXX#XXXXXX"


Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, this is possible. When creating or editing questions for your forms, set the 'Initial Value' setting to whatever you would like the default to be. This will pre-populate the question with your desired default value.
