I have been using mycontactform for a couple of years and each semester editing my forms which serve as registration forms for my music school. Now when I go to preview my forms, the form is blank. I am very disappointed that ALL my hard work has disappeared. I saw in one place you say you are no longer using HTML because of security issues, then on your home page it says you are. If you are not using HTML, what are you using? If you are, then please explain the discrepancy. Up until now I have loved your service as it lets me create my own forms to send to my webmaster without trying to explain to him exactly what I want my forms to say. I am very disappointed to have been given no notice of this severe change in your service. Why is HTML not safe? and what is safe? Need help! Thank you.

Good Day,

Your account and forms appear to be acting as they are supposed to. I am not sure where you've seen that we are no longer using HTML. We are absolutely still using HTML. If you are receiving the following error, then please do as it says:

Quote:
ERROR! There is a problem with your referring page. It is located on an insecure (http://) server. Under the Form Security panel you configured the form so that it would be sent securely via SSL encryption. In order for this to work properly, the form must reside on a secure (https://) location on your server. An example of a secure location on your server would be https://www.mydomain.com/myform.html.

What this error message basically means is that your have enabled SSL for the form without placing the form on a secure (SSL) page on your site. To fix this, either change the Form Location under Edit > Basic Form Information so that the URL starts with a https://, or disable SSL for this form under the Form Security / Anti-SPAM portion of the control panel. This will correct the problem.
