When I test the form, I enter a legitimate email address into the email query that is automatically used and I get a message that the email address is not legitimate. The only time this does not occur is when I put my own email address in there. Is this a default? Do I need to have an extra email query to obtain the sender's email address? Is there a way I can enter my email address there permantly so responders don't have to?

You do not need to make a field for the "send-to" address. This is automatically created during the wizard form creation process.

Please post the address of your form and I will look at it.

Thanks.

the site address is www.biekerengineering.com/contact1.htm

the top email is the one that gives the error message. that is the one that is automatically generated. The one at the bottom is the one requesting the sender's email for response.

It seems to work perfectly fine for me. I'm not sure why you are asking for the email twice. The first one is added by default and is where your user would input their address. I entered a variety of e-mail addresses in it and they were all verified as correct. The second field that you created is not needed.

It is not possible to specify what e-mail address it will be sent to using the form alone. If we wrote our program so that a send-to email address could simply be typed in it would create enormous abuse issues, basically allowing people to make forms that could be sent to any address that has not been verified as theirs. The address the form will be sent to is whatever you specified when the form was originally created.

Thanks,

the reason I put the 2nd field there was that whenever I tried to put an email address in the default one it gave me the error that it wasn't a legitimate email address.. I tried several different addresses to check it. I will try it again to see if the problem has resolved itself. Thank you for your help
