I configured the form and placed it on my two websites without difficulty, but continue to get the following error message (pasted below) when submitting from each of the sites.

Error message as of 3/18/11 from www.sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com site:
"This form is not being sent from the url where it is supposed to be located. If you are the owner of this form you need to ensure that the 'Form Location' is specified as ticktockstoptheclock.com/ticktockstoptheclock//newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html. To change this, login to the site, click 'edit' next to the form's name, and then click the 'Basic Information' link to change the form's location."

Similar Error message as of 3/18/11 from www.ticktocktoptheclock.com site:
"This form is not being sent from the url where it is supposed to be located. If you are the owner of this form you need to ensure that the 'Form Location' is specified as sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html. To change this, login to the site, click 'edit' next to the form's name, and then click the 'Basic Information' link to change the form's location."

I cut and pasted the recommended URL's into the Form Location box of myContactForm as suggested, plus variations (including those listed on my server), including:

sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com/sexliesandcosmeticsurgery//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html

I have spent several days - many hours- and am becoming bald from tearing hairs from my head!!! PLEASE HELP. Rolling Eyes

I can say 'Yes' to all your statements and still the forms do not work. I have republished my websites to the server, used the administrative panel, selected edit - Basic Form Information and pasted the suggested URL's into #2: What specific addresses will this form be located . . ."

What now? There must be something I am missing but can't seem to get the fix I need.

I see others are having similar problems so something is amiss.
Thanks.

Nothing is amiss. Your configuration is not correct.

1. I went to the following page on your site:
http://sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com/sexliesandcosmeticsurgery/NEWSLETTTER.html

2. I submitted the form and got the error message. I copied the URL directly from the error message (CTRL C):
sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html

3. I logged in to your account, click 'Edit', and then 'Basic Form Location' for the 'SIGN-UP FORM'

4. I pasted the URL I copied in step #2 (CTRL V) into the bottom of the 'Form Location' setting.

5. The form at the URL in #1 no longer receives an error message.

Follow the above procedure for each of your forms, and it will work.

Hi Nick,

I just tried the form at http://sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com/sexliesandcosmeticsurgery/NEWSLETTTER.html
and got this error message Sorry, we can't find "www.tickstockstoptheclock.com". We suggest that you check the spelling of the web address or search above.

It then asked if I wanted to “Disable this error service ” and I did click on that. The good news is that the information did get relayed back to me so that is one step in the right direction.

But I am confused because If you go to my posted message to you from 5:04 AM, March 18th you will see that the URL that you cut and pasted into my form information (after receiving your error message) is the first one on my list there. In other words I had previously cut and pasted that URL into the form location setting after receiving the same error message. See below for my entire list:

Note that ticktockstoptheclock.com/ticktockstoptheclock//newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html is also listed, but I just listed it again at the end of the list.
Yet when I fill in that form, I get the error message:

“This form is not being sent from the url where it is supposed to be located. If you are the owner of this form you need to ensure that the 'Form Location' is specified as ticktockstoptheclock.com//newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html. To change this, login to the site, click 'edit' next to the form's name, and then click the 'Basic Information' link to change the form's location.”

Here are all the links in my contact form at present. Would it it best for me to delete the ones starting with http:?

sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com/sexliesandcosmeticsurgery//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html
ticktockstoptheclock.com/ticktockstoptheclock//
newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.sexliesandcosmeticsurgery//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com/sexliesandcosmeticsurgery//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.ticktockstoptheclock.com/ticktockstoptheclock//newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.ticktockstoptheclock.com/newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com/sexliesandcosmeticsurgery/newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.ticktockstoptheclock.com/newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html
http://www.ticktockstoptheclock.com/newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html
sexliesandcosmeticsurgery.com//newslettter_files/widget1_markup.html
ticktockstoptheclock.com/ticktockstoptheclock//
newsletter_files/widget1_markup.html

Something is still amiss and I just can’t figure it out. I really am trying (and I know you are too!) Please bear with me and persevere until these little glitches are fixed!

The new error message you are receiving is different than the previous and is not coming from the myContactForm.com software. It is coming from your web host. It is an Error 404 being caused because the URL you configured the form to go to upon completion is not a valid URL. You need to make sure to enter a valid URL to redirect back to. This needs to be configured under Edit > Redirect Page.

The ticktockshop.com form isn't working because the Form Location URL is still not configured properly as I outlined to you in a post above. The URL listed within the error message is not listed in the configuration. Copy it directly from the error message and paste it into the configuration.
