Hi all,

I keep getting the error 404 each time I hit the submit button when testing the form. The form is not finding our redirect (Thank You)page of our web site. The form is being processed correctly but the error message is still there.

I use Net objects fusion 8 as the web programme and the thank you page is set as "Exclude from Navigation" so it doesn't show on the web site.

I've tested the form "Live" but still get the same error.

Any ideas anyone.

Thanks,

Steve UK Rolling Eyes

Steve,

First check the form's configuration to ensure that the redirect page was entered correctly and doesn't include a typo. You can do this by clicking 'edit' from the Form Management panel.

If the redirect page is correctly entered, it sounds like the issue is a configuration problem on your server. I don't know much about your setup, but you need to make sure the redirect page has the correct permissions to be readable to the world. If the form is being processed, the script is being executed correctly, and the 404 is being called from your server because it can't find the redirect page.

What happens if you physically type in the address of the redirect page? Can you please post the form location / form name / your username?

Thanks,

Nick Ladd

Hi.

The form location is http://www.safco-medical.co.uk/thank_you_.html
Form Name "Web Enquiry"
User Name Steve8.

The new site is not published yet as we're still finishing off the shopping cart!!

Do I need to publish it so you can take a look??

Thanks,

Steve. Idea

Has the redirect page been published or uploaded yet? If it has not, this is why you are getting the 404. You cannot get to a page that hasn't been uploaded yet Smile

Hi Nick,

I've published/uploaded the entire site to test it live and the error still appeared. Is it because the redirect page is excluded from site navigation?

Regards,

Steve.

I am not familiar with the software you are using for you server, so I can't really say whether or not it is because it is being excluded from the navigation. I wanna say yes, because I can't see any other reason it isn't working.

What is the specific address of the re-direct page?

Thanks,

Nick Ladd
