I keep getting spam through my form. Is there a way to block an IP or limit spam?

We are working on a large update (hopefully to be live within a month or two) that will allow you to block people based on IP addresses.

In the mean time, you should be able to manually block certain IPs from accessing your form (if your server admin allows this). You will need to contact your web host for more information.

Thanks,

Another bit of curious information..
My pageview counter, which is accurate, does not reflect a visitor to the form page when the rubbish entries are being submitted. My last visitor to the website was 7:00p last evening.. yet two rubbish forms have been 'submitted' in the meantime..

What is most likely occuring is that the forms are being submitted via an automated script which is bypassing your html form page altogether and going straight to the myContactForm.com script which processes the form. If you block the IP address that these submissions are coming from, it should solve the problem.

The culprit is changing IP on each submission..

Fortunately the need for the form is over for this year.. I'll see if I can disable it in mCF otherwise I'll discard.. Regards, Styx..

If the IP is changing, it is most likely a case of a bunch on zombie (IE virus infected computers) automatically submitting the script. If you simply delete the form from the online panel, it'll solve the problem.

Sincerely,
